Short term treatment programs, residential treatment, and support groups such as AA and NA are all methods of addressing substance abuse and addiction. In combination with these and other treatment modalities, medication assisted treatment can provide pharmacological support for individuals who are motivated to overcome their addiction. At this practice we are experienced in the treatment of substance abuse disorders as well as co-occurring psychiatric disorders. We often work collaboratively with therapists and rehabilitation centers to provide medication assisted treatments including Suboxone, Naltrexone, and Antabuse. Concurrently, we will address psychiatric issues that may complicate recovery and/or contribute to addictive behaviors.
